David: The Faces of Love tells of the searing, glorious, tragic and always moving relationships that filled the life of the Biblical great, King David.  From his youth and first experience of love with Jonathan, to adultery and murder, then finally as the broken-hearted figure of a failed father late in life, the musical portrays the faces of love: friendship, loyalty, commitment, passion, parenthood and of the choices and consequences of the choices made.  David experiences the conflicts of sex and friendship, of commitment and passion, of loyalty, duty, and betrayal, while trying to be a good man.
